The present work is an initiative within the scope of EDP University Challenge 2019 of EDP - Energias de Portugal which aims to develop a project with the theme "The EDP commercial store of the future" working to integrate the physical and digital world, as well as the integration of augmented reality and in-store technology for product demonstration, traffic control, emotion tracking, among others. To conduct the project, he used the Stanford University D-School of Design Thinking which consists of 5 different steps, in addition to several techniques, which can be developed in an iterative and continuous way, that is, steps can be redone if necessary and production may exist before previous testing. This methodology was adopted due to the possibility of integrating the Canvas tool recommended by the briefing made available by EDP, in addition to having a strong interaction with Bernhard E. Bürdek's design method.

The objective of Virtual Reality is to bring a digital and immersive world to the user, all generated by a device with support for special glasses for immersion and other equipment. The most popular way today is the placement of the mobile phone in a virtual reality glasses, the user can thus be transported to another city, on the other side of the world, without leaving the place. Seeking to expand the possibilities of our reality, with digital elements, is the focus of augmented reality. Many devices have been used to try this type of technology, such as glasses, mirrors and special glasses, but the popularization of this reality happened through the cell phone.

Technologies

For the choice of technology, it sought to classify the user's easy access, ease of production of the application, costs and ease of technology distribution. Two approaches were used for prototyping, using React Native together with Viromedia for iOS and Android applications and AR.js together with A-Frame for application through the browser.
